Adenike is a Director of Photography with over ten years experience shooting documentary and film around the world.
She gained a scholarship from Netflix to study at NFTS and has an MFA in Cinematography. Whilst there her First Year Film shot on 16mm 'Ether' was selected as part of La Cinéf and premiered at the 78th Cannes Film Festival.
During her career she has collaborated with a diverse range of companies, artists and musicians which include the BBC, Netflix, the National Theatre, Arsenal Football Club, Nike, Spotify, NTS Radio, and musicians Goya Gumbani, Demae and Jordan Mackampa.
Her past projects include Caleb Femi’s short film ‘A Secret Life of G’s’, exhibition film ’Heart of a Nation’ shown at the Migration Museum in London, ‘Dancing Before the Moon’ the British Pavilions film for the Venice Biennale and artist Deborah Joyce Holman’s ‘Close-up/ Quiet as its Kept/ Quiet as it’s kept/ Close-up’ shown at Kunsthalle Bern, Tank Shanghai and Swiss Institute New York.
She prides herself on cultivating a collaborative and inclusive environment. She has a passion for telling stories that challenge perspectives and leave a lasting impression.
